Valuation is a conversation, not a calculation. The number any buyer pays is the number that survives a structured process under proper scrutiny. We model that scrutiny early.
We provide independent valuations for shareholder situations, pre-sale preparation, fairness opinions, and internal capital decisions. We are equally comfortable arguing for an aggressive number and against one.
Our work is grounded in transactional comparables we have seen up close, not in publicly published multiples that bear little resemblance to what the deal actually closes at.
